I hate him so much. Easily my least favorite character and that includes Daisy's awful girlfriend. McGraw was ok, I went back and forth on liking/disliking him.

Yeah i thought Salma Hayek did a pretty good job in the film. Definitely a better choice than Madonna for a litany of reasons.

the plot of “Us” especially near the end is pretty shaky. But the cast, pulling double duty, is fantastic and the tension is really palpable. Also, it was funnier than I thought it would be. Not to ruin “The Witch” for you but I don’t believe there is a lot of graphic gore. Maybe one scene early on had some viscera but mostly it is psychological horror. There is one pretty gross scene (you’ll know it when you see it) but it isn’t gory, just a little bit bloody. I definitely recommend watching it! I hope…

Does “Apostle” count as folk horror? Cause I loved that just as much if not more than “The Witch” and that kid from LEGION is really good in it.

He's not washed up, he was awesome in "The Nice Guys" though maybe physically he's a bit washed. That Gladiator physique is long gone.
