I liked his take on vampires, so I’m excited to see how Jarmusch handles zombies. Also, glad that the cast is just a wee bit larger than the ensemble he had in “Only Lovers Left Alive” because while I love all three actors in that film, it felt a little too claustrophobic and introverted, even if that was the design.

Same. I’ve been spoiled by all the handsome dudes playing Gomez that this adaptation has me a bit confused. I’m not sure if I’m ready for a not-sexy Gomez (or Morticia for that matter) even if the animation seems closer to the original Addams cartoons with character design.

I agree. Like, the episode sets up why Sabrina might have to cheat, cause Blackwood is giving her much harder questions on top of a demon trying to mess up her study time. I’m alright with the adaptation not being too faithful, because that was what Watchmen was mostly and it felt more like watching a motion comic than an actual movie, despite the great cast. GDT putting his spin on it worked for the second one, but the first was bogged down a bit by the romance and not enough gothic…
