Climbing aboard a floating petri dish with hundreds of strangers and their horrible children is my worst nightmare. It is the least relaxing thing I can imagine...like taking a vacation on a subway train during rush hour. My life might be easier and happier if I didn’t feel that way, but the absolute first thing I do

No doubt it’s “store policy” because they want to funnel as many people as possible into using credit to pay for the car instead of cash. I mean, how are they going to be able to show you their low low finance rate if you don’t even fill out a credit application? GOSH!

That thing is killing it! I wouldn’t worry too much about differences between you and the Jeeps - you have a way more comfortable car that will still do amazing things offroad.

The key word in your post is “recommended”. Not all NA engines recommend 87, many recommend higher.

Ugggggggh. And here we are in the recurring thread on every car forum and facebook group since the dawn of the internet.

The quality thing definitely depends tremendously on the gear you’re listening to it on, listening level, and circumstances. There’s lot’s of nonsense in the high end audio world for sure but, in my experience, especially metal or electronic music played at high volume on speakers is where I hear it most easily. I

So victims should just roll over and let themselves be victimized. No one should ever defend themselves from wrongdoing and should render themselves completely dependent on the state (with it’s impeccable record of dispensing justice).

An important question here is whether you are talking about the overall condition of the roads in the state, or whether you’re setting up a death match between the worst road in each state.

So what you’re saying is that you support a system of quasi-legal immigration that lets people come here to live, but offers them no protection from exploitation whatsoever.

This. My view on immigration comes down to this: we should comply with our own laws, whatever we decide those laws may look like.

Sales is the only group I know that will set up a call to talk about having a call. Then we’ll have a pre-call to prepare for the call. Then we have the call. Then we have a call to talk about how the call went.

It’s almost as if data security should be built in from the start any time you create a product which touches potentially sensitive data.

Another hornet man here, but RC10 would be amazing.

There are layers upon layers of agendas here and, like so many issues we face today, it is far more complicated than anyone would prefer.

It’s funny that people want to pay a premium for a new design which hasn’t had the bugs shaken out of it yet. You know there will be problems.  I wouldn’t buy the first model year of a new generation of an existing vehicle, much less something like this.  Talk to me in year 3.

If it’s his position in the world and his livelihood then maybe he should have considered not having a tantrum, endangering several people, and assaulting another. The weight of what he threw is meaningless...its just lucky someone didn’t swerve to avoid it and cause more carnage.

This is an extremely worthwhile point. America has a huge corruption problem and the most insidious thing about it is that most of it is completely legal. Until we deal with that problem, everything else we do is going to be tainted by corruption. Maybe you do a project and wind up with a more politically correct end

They require you to pull the...to change the diff...whuh...zuh...buh...but why...WHYYYYY??

I don’t know if it’s a Toyota thing, but the slip joint deal is something FJs suffer from as well. It is important to keep that joint greased. In the FJ if it is not greased properly it results in some rather frightening effects when stopping hard. It feels as if someone gently rear ended you just as the truck is

Fair enough, had never skied that one before...apparently for obvious reasons.  It’s actually pretty odd that they chose there for their event in that case.
