I wish there was a way to equip an item while in the shop. I didn’t mind the plot for some of the characters as much as I was bothered by how boring the dungeon design was. Graphics were terrific, loved the music, and thought the combat was great. But after 25 hours, it just got so darn repetitive, I eventually gave up on it.

You’re not wrong. I sank a hundred hours or so into FH4 and it was probably after two weeks of steady play that I felt I finally had a handle on what was going on.
