It's the Jets after all.

People would often ask how it is my wife and I have such a (seemingly) happy marriage. There are three easy-to-follow steps to achieve marital bliss.

1) Live 3000 miles from family. Are you from NJ? Easy. Move to WA.
2) Don’t have kids.
3) Be gainfully employed.

It was nice ofthe NFL to schedule this game opposite the Dem Debate so we wouldn’t have to see it.

Better go switch my pick for this week’s game ... Ah, who am I kidding. Of course I didn’t pick the Jets.

Trump’s concern over vaping is because with every death and hospitalization he sees his base dwindling.

This is a good time to remind people that Mark Emmert is a UW alum and former President. He’s gonna ban the California schools to make it easier for the Huskies!

Is there really any not-knowing when you have a wedgie?

There’s an interesting sports science video with the Chief’s kicker who says that there are plenty of guys hitting 70+ in practice without pads, a rush, or crowd noise. He said guys in college are killing it from 80 yards, but they lack the accuracy and ability to do it in game situations.

Every single week.

Just watched that on Monday. It made me feel so much better about my life.

Yep. Sign on the door said they were out of chicken sandwiches so we went in, wife ordered tenders, I ordered shrimp po’boy and it was explained to me that they no longer carry it “to make room on the menu for the chicken sandwich.”

Popeye’s forfeited the claim to the “Louisiana Kitchen” moniker when they took the shrimp po’boy off the menu to make room for the fried chicken sandwich.

He may well have an intern whose sole task is to do exactly that on the hour, every hour.

As a Mariners fan who typically goes to 4 games a year, but has only gone 2x this year (and the 2nd only to watch Edgar’s HOF induction, then I left in the 3rd inning), here’s why I’m not going. No, I don’t really expect many to care. But maybe I’m not alone in my reasons.

I drove that stretch moving from NC to WA. Hope to not do it again, but I do love me some truck stops.

At least the shop I went to, when I asked for it (because they were out of chicken sandwiches) told me they took it off the menu to make room for the sandwich. At that point, we canceled my wife’s order and went to Jersey Mike’s.

It’d be great if they didn’t take the Shrimp Po’Boy off the menu to make room for it. I’m so pissed right now.

Come on out to North Bend... the one at truck town has friendly service. They’ll forget half your order (and definitely forget what sauce you requested) but they’re friendly and the place is clean.

Went to the only Popeye’s I know of nearby (about 10 miles) and they had a sign on the door that said they were sold out. I knew this already, thanks to an old man sitting in the parking lot spreading the news.

I just started Fire Emblem a week ago. Hoping to finish a playthrough before DQ11 drops.
