Incorrect. We’ve had windshields replaced numerous times. Rock chips get repaired free of charge with Geico, but complete replacement involves filing a claim and being refunded the total minus deductible.
Friend drove a Jag with a rain-detecting windshield. Only problem was that rock chips are routinely flying off logging trucks in this region and a replacement windshield was >$1200.
