So far as I’ve been able to piece together, the reason Hardy’s venom is there at all is because the Klyntar/Symbiotes share a hive mind that transcends dimensions. Even with the 5 years past, the timeline doesn’t add up to how old Maya is to Ronin killing her father. In the comics, Maya had the Ronin identity before Clint so I assume they’re setting up something similar.
