The EV market is going to be controlled by 3 things: Brand Recognition, Technology and Range.

Tesla currently holds all 3 cards in their hands. Tesla is the most recognized name in the EV Auto industry. They’ve surpassed all other smaller market names and are now challenging “The Big 3" with direct to consumer sales

This platform will underpin new cars from Pontiac AND Saturn!

‘87 Chevrolet S10 will let you do the same thing. I used to enjoy freaking out my passengers with that trick. It worked well when doing a cold start in winter though, could take out the keys and lock the doors with it running.

Being a car guy, it would just be hard to enjoy this thing knowing that it’s pretty much the worst configuration of a better car :(.  Taken on its own and not knowing there was a manual hard top option--not to mention twin turbo--it would be only borderline NP.

Just passed my phone to my Gf, she looked at it and said, “it’s a wagon and it’s ugly, why would you want that?" I don't think she gets it.

I volunteer as tribune, to offer up the first, of what will likely be many excuses...

Clearly, it’s Milf I Love.

Yeah, my only thing is when the cars have so little power that their fuel economy sucks. Subaru’s strategy is really dumb in that regard. The more powerful engine in this case gets better fuel economy over the base engine WHICH supposedly was designed with lower power in order to achieve higher fuel economy.

And keeping with the Subaru family lineup, only available with a CVT and optional Eyesight

I’m impressed with new struts, brakes, tires, and headlights. This was someone’s baby that they were spending money on to keep right.  Then the top frizzed out and the cost estimate to fix was high and the owner is looking for something new to play with.   I would get this thing in a heartbeat.

Just added complexity, Mercedes don’t care about the turd owners in 5-10 years. This will cost a fortune to replace. Mercedes is not getting my used car money on this one.

My dad always said be careful wetting your willys because you never know when your rod will.... on second thought I'm not sure he meant it in this context.

And that if you get in a fender bender with something like this you’ll probably end up a quadriplegic.

My neighbour had two of them, new, back in the day. His marriage ended a short time later. Coincidence? I think not.

It took a year of therapy before I accepted that point of view. I had no idea how much the pessimism and expecting the worst had dragged me down until I started to unravel it. That doesn’t mean you should go out and spend like a big raise is just around the corner, but too much dwelling on the negative isn’t healthy.

Here’s my Recession-proof car shopping advice:

So you don’t want him spending his time to make a statement against religion and you don’t want him to be for religion, so you essentially just want to tell him to spend his time however you deem most worthwhile. Got it.
