That’s really interesting and I hadn’t considered that. Uncomfortable does make her more passive and I thought she handled it like a pro and looked pissed and like she had some choice words for him but just kept it professional. I hope she ripped the scheduler to pieces after and called Steven A on not opening his mout

You're completely misunderstanding my point. It's not at all cool. It's sexist, annoying bullshit. That I'm sure she encounters regularly enough that she wouldn't be made uncomfortable by it. Annoyed, irritated, mildly pissed off, but not uncomfortable. Again, this does not in any way shape or form make what he said

As a woman, I can tell you she was not made “uncomfortable” by this. Mildly annoyed, irritated, yes, maybe. But uncomfortable would imply that this was something somehow unusual that would take her aback... I guarantee she hears something similar at least weekly, if not daily.

I have a good friend who is a DND nerd (or was before kids). A few years ago, we met up to drink and he showed me his new sweet tattoo: a pair of some nerd dice. I looked at it and asked what it rolled. He was like, “20, duh.”

Of all the scenes in all the David Zucker comedies, who would have guessed that scene would age the best.

F. Lee Bailey said this week that if the defense only knew what Ron Goldman’s last words were, they might be able to find the real killer. You know, if you ask me, Goldman’s last words were probably, ah, “Hey, you’re O. J. Simpson!”

“It should be a lot of fun and I got a little getting even to do”

That was genuinely terrifying. What’s all this getting even talk??

So whatever happened to Elmo’s puppeteer and those allegations about the other places he liked to stick his hand?

*Elmo stares forlornly at what he thinks is a dead, skinned muppet*

16 isn’t a child. 16 is a teenager. This shouldn’t go down on his permanent record but I still think he needs to be tried as an adult if only to scare him straight.

After a series of escalations, the punchline of every prank is apparently “Actually, you are still unemployed.”

That sounds mean spirited even for a typical prank show.

Kind of reminds me of that scene in ‘What We Do in the Shadows’.

Now if only they had one of “Banjo Dog” from the 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I’ve had my grammar Nazi moments too.

The Shining is a masterpiece of a movie, however it is a terrible adaptation of Stephen King’s novel

Tugs the hearstrings.

How can you criticize a guy who is always pulling for his teammates?
