I don’t remember which, but Yoshida has said in an interview that he doesn’t like to announce games/release dates until the game is nearly done. Doing so super early (see Cyberpunk) only builds hype that can lead to disappointment in the end if the game doesn’t meet expectations set by a long development cycle . I can

These emails are annoying but, you want them. Reason being that they are a means to prove that you’re you if you ever have to do an account recovery. Those emails typically contain two or three things that customer service looks for when recovering an account.

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is still one of my all-time favorites. It’s amazing to me that it never became a long running series. It was owned by FASA so I have to assume it’s in some licensing hell but, you can still pick it up and play it if you have an Xbox One.

It’s amazing how much better these transformation scenes look compared to when the show first started. I know this one is on a movie budget, but they look SO much better now.

Ape Escape 1. It’s the only game that I’ve ever 100% completed multiple times. I love that game to death and I’m sad that I haven’t gotten to experience a new game in quite a while. Maybe someday, in this age of revivals and remakes, the franchise will see the light of day again in the west.

So, CDPR did not go through the proper channels when offering a refund. That being said, Sony is still denying refunds if the game was downloaded. Clearly it’s a shit show with upper management over at CDPR these days.

You want to do everything you can in the free trial before activating the code. Once you activate the code, your account is no longer listed as a “trial” account and you will have to pay for your subscription to continue, no matter how much or how little you’ve completed.

A wonderful little arcade flight game came out in November of that year called Sky Odyssey. It was very underrated and had a soundtrack by the guy that did the Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack. The object of the game was to fly across this series of islands to find pieces of a map to discover some hidden ruins.

I put my vote in for Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. Published by Atlus in the US, it brought action RPG combat to a handheld that felt pretty good all things considered. Each weapon type handled differently and you could have 3 different ones equipped to swap at any time mid combat. The story kept me interested all

Good news is that they are crunching the quests down for 2.0-2.5. Please look forward to it.

If you’re ever in Baton Rouge, LA, The 13th Gate does some very good work. I haven’t done the escape rooms but, their haunted house is top tier. From what I’ve heard the escape rooms are just as good as the haunted house so it’s definitely worth looking in to.

Why didn’t you finish Alan Wake if I may ask? It was one of my favorite games at the time. Now, if only Remedy would actually finish it...

I’m surprised your grips are still attached. Mine didn’t last a year. Naturally warm hands make the adhesive that they used really weak apparently. Haven’t had any issues with my shoulder buttons, but since the grips came off, I switched back to my standard xbone controller.

We use Community Coffee for our cold brew. You may not have heard of it though. It’s local to the south (mostly Louisiana as far as I know) It blows Folgers out of the water in terms of flavor. Maybe you can find a bag online and give it a shot!

The only semi-bad thing I can say about the elite controller is that if you have naturally hot hands, the grips will come off after a certain amount of time. It seems as if they used a cheep adhesive to keep them on. Other than that, it’s great!

I see a profitable visual novel in your future! It worked with pigeons right?!

I’d recommend Splinter Cell Blacklist if you are willing to put up with uplay. It was surprisingly good and at $7 and some change, it’s a solid deal.

I’d love to take part in this exploit exploitation, but I still can’t download the thing. I have the expansion pass and all, but it still reads unavailable in the Xbox store (Xbone). I’ll just wait for the new to wear out so I can actually get a response from Bungie.

They’re working with Cox currently to get a fast track to their servers. Should be taken care of in a couple of weeks. I know your pain. I have Cox as well and I live in the “deep south”. Was averaging 110 ping before the move, but when I get off work I’ll see if there’s an improvement.

This new product is pretty lazy on their part, honestly. It's just the same boneless chicken that they have always had, with some extra stuff thrown on top. I knew about these months ago, considering I worked there before. Pretty meh tbh
