In my experience, the gatekeeping generally doesn’t go into how the difficulty factors into the design; most gatekeepers just don’t seem to be that smart or observant. It’s a lot like someone regurgitating political talking points without understanding the underlying reasons they exist in the first place.

That’s because you can only disable the game’s anti-cheat while playing offline

Just let us customize the main character, please.

I just want a little Radahn plush to put on Torrent's head.

You’re right. You should stop looking at these articles.

Torrent also has a lower height threshold for a fatal fall than the player does. Tested on numerous flat buildings and landing spots.

Sadly, I am not one of those fans. For me, it was more of the same, and I didn’t find the more disjointed narrative to be particularly interesting, nor did I find the alternative versions of the characters to be more engaging. Sure, you did some different things, but a few different things in gameplay is not worth a

Being honest, I don’t see how BotW2 could be at all interesting if all it does is rearrange its assets and continue the story, especially given the story was rather lackluster to begin with (I blame Link’s lack of engagement and Nintendo’s unwillingness to make the optional-yet-main story quests more distinct).

Given the original could barely run on the Switch in the first place, I really don’t see how they could one-up themselves on a sequel, much less make it better. Guess we’ll see if the magic happens.

I AM a claustrophobic person by any reasonable capacity, and just looking at that image is spiking my heart rate. Woof.

It’s actually been like that since release, so it’s hardly a fast turnaround. More like it was probably not as high a priority given you run into the affected mobs all of... twice? Maybe three times total?

Clicking the left stick is dismount, which is stupid because it’s easy to do accidentally.

Counter-intuitively, the best strategy for Rune Bears is to stay right up in their face as much as possible. They only generally use three attacks at that range: paw swipes which are easily dodged by rolling forward and can be punished, a long-telegraphed body slam that can be dodged to the side and can be punished,

Hence why I said "most everything" and not "everything".

And no Yuji Naka to blame it on this time. Can we all jusqt agree that Square Enix hasn’t been a good game developer for at least a decade now? Most everything they’ve released in that time frame that isn’t related to FF7 has been at best mediocre or forgettable, or had to be rescued from the dumpster fire by someone

In other news, a known opioid addict attempted to convince a doctor to prescribe him additional opioids, claiming, "Just because I always overdose doesn't mean I will THIS time!"

Pretty much this. I roll my eyes at people who rely on its AI to cheese bosses with EZ builds; I just have it duplicate my normal build and work with it to beat bosses when I use it. I mean, I’m not going to tell them not to do it, but they won’t get better if they put in the work.

Having been using Moonveil prior to the patch... yeah, it needed the nerf, it trivialized most encounters (and still does to some degree). Frankly, I barely notice the difference beyond the increased FP cost and ever so slightly longer recovery animation. Not as spammable, which is a good thing.

Elden Ring does this too. If you Alt-F4 at the splash screens to save time, the executable and Easy Anti-Cheat won’t close and will just suspend themselves, hogging up memory. You have to kill the process with Task Manager.
