That only cements that you’re invested. The reason isn’t particularly important beyond that you’re invested and were trying to change that narrative. But if you admit to it, there’s no reason to continue, now is there?

I’m fairly proud that I didn’t use a cheese strategy against him. I just got right up in his backside, launched a few icicles, then retreated when he so much as looked my way, darting back in between combos for one or two more shots until his second phase. When he reached a certain threshold of health, I activated my

You clearly care a great deal. You're invested and deflecting.

/glances at Offline Mode being started in his game because he doesn’t want traps spoiled by messages

You clearly seem to care enough to reply to most everybody who disagrees with you on the topic. No one does that if they don't care, dude, they walk away satisfied with their worldview. Trying to say otherwise is like someone convicted of forgery telling you the check is good.

Because they’re incapable people who can only complete these games because they were born with a silver spoon in their mouth or otherwise benefited from good fortune that lets them do nothing but throw themselves at gamer cred titles until the law of averages wins out and think it makes them skilled.

Just do what Monster Hunter has done for years: include a pause function in.the in-game menu, and gray it out when in multiplayer. Seems simple enough.

Nice, hope they’ll also patch the rash of instant deaths I’ve been suffering with no enemies around. One even happened in a totally-enclosed cave with nothing around; a rare occurrence but frustrating nonetheless, and it didn’t happen before the expansion (no, I generally saw what one-shot me then XD)

Their names are Worace, and they’re assholes.

I feel like certain new enemies (like the stingray acid spitters) are a little overtuned, but I’ve been enjoying the new variety.

I find it amusing that both RoR2 and Elden Ring are my most-played games of the last week.

Nah brah, half the linked article was just the author complaining about the 60 fps cap on PC and how FromSoft needed to get with the times. Nevermind that by the standard of high profile launches in the past five years this has been remarkably smooth.

I really wish half the article wasn't dedicated to bitching about the 60 fps cap.

They actually don’t clash. The first means you can’t run your own sale within 28 days after your last, self-initiated sale. Steam runs the seasonal sales, so those can run normally even if you ran a sale yourself in the lockout period.

Because as an Asian man myself (as noted in my first post) I likely know a hell of a lot more about how they react than you do. Japan is a country of appearances. Saving face. As long as the illusion that all is right is upkept, all is golden. I also know that social media vetting in Japan has been around longer than

What is illegal, is altering (or even accessing) the firmware and other proprietary code present in the console’s chipset.

Sure didn’t stop them from signing him on, the process during which I assume they would actually vet him. If they did not, then clearly they’re only serious about their image when slights against their target demographic (Japanese men, many of which trend on the shorter side because Asian) are present. His attitude

I snark for my own amusement as well as the amusement of those idly reading the comments. How the person I’m replying to takes it generally isn’t high on my priority list unless I’m having a conversation. XD

As an Asian man myself, I am not at all surprised that he got away with these comments for years before getting fired for mocking the heights of Japanese men. Nothing outrages like an inconvenient truth.
