Paint clear coat issues fit into this category. I’ve had 2 different cars that had early clear coat failures (either blistering or white discoloration) and went online and found that this is a known issue for that manufacturer/model. The cars were well out of warranty, so I got what I got...

Thanks Obama!

What is a GPS memory assisted suspension? Does it remember which road you are on and set the suspension accordingly?

Damn, that’s a pretty car.

Can I re-use the stone after wrecking my Veyron?

What’s a “low torque exhaust manifold”?

No fire extinguisher in what’s essentially a race car? What the hell?

Yeah, I spent $12K on an nice 25 year old Porsche 928 5 years ago and everyone thinks I’ve got money falling out of my pockets due to my “expensive” car.

You couldn’t give me that monstrosity of a “truck”.

The nice thing about bugs is you could push them, jump in and pop the clutch all by yourself. At certain times during my poor college days, I’d always make sure the car was parked either level or facing downhill so I could be sure I’d get on my way.

I actually looked at one of these as my first new car after getting a real job out of school in 1984. It was one strange car even back then, especially with the pods next to the steering wheel (the main reason I even considered the car).

You can get a 15 year old V8 jag in good shape for the same money, probably with a better interior too.

A lot of trucks just ride shitty if there’s no weight in the bed/back. The guy probably figured the spare was the only thing out of the way that was in the right spot and wouldn’t shift around.

This is the one that gripes me. When I’ve complained that I could buy the part for less, they tell you they can’t guarantee the repair unless they provide the part, as in if I provided the part, I void the repair warranty.

Hey now, I had a 1988 CRX SI (in Barbados yellow). It was my second CRX (the first one got totaled somehow, I forget).

If my wife ever became an ex (it’ll never happen), it would be a Ford F250 Superduty with a big horse trailer on the back.

I’m not familiar with that vehicle.

Showing son the younger how to change spark plugs. I turned him loose and when he got near the end, he tells me that the last plug was really tough to get out. When he went to put the new plug in that hole, it wouldn’t screw in. I tried it myself and there was no way the plug would screw into the hole.

You’d normally have to go to a drag strip to see such an excess of poisonous gasses expelled.
