Paint clear coat issues fit into this category. I’ve had 2 different cars that had early clear coat failures (either blistering or white discoloration) and went online and found that this is a known issue for that manufacturer/model. The cars were well out of warranty, so I got what I got...

Wasn’t it Asimov that wrote a story where the society used moving sidewalks? As I remember, there were multiple “lanes” which had belts running at progressively higher speeds, so that you could step from belt to belt to get up to highway speeds and then back to the other side to get off.

As far as the whole Silmarillion goes, yes that would be a brutal project. However, some of the “books” within the Silmarillion, such as the Lay of Leithian (Beren and Luthien) or the Children of Hurin would have much more potential as stand alone movies.

Thanks Obama!

You need to write an article using it and post it (with disclaimers to protect your reputation).

What is a GPS memory assisted suspension? Does it remember which road you are on and set the suspension accordingly?

That’s going to be a big R/C plane with an engine that size.

Sorry, not legible.

I think “fun factory” might be a better analogy.

Damn, that’s a pretty car.

Can I re-use the stone after wrecking my Veyron?

What’s a “low torque exhaust manifold”?

No fire extinguisher in what’s essentially a race car? What the hell?

Yeah, I spent $12K on an nice 25 year old Porsche 928 5 years ago and everyone thinks I’ve got money falling out of my pockets due to my “expensive” car.

You couldn’t give me that monstrosity of a “truck”.

We’re looking into artificial turf for the backyard of our rental property for their kiddies. Unfortunately, our city hasn’t offered any grass extraction incentives yet, and that fake grass ain’t cheap.

The nice thing about bugs is you could push them, jump in and pop the clutch all by yourself. At certain times during my poor college days, I’d always make sure the car was parked either level or facing downhill so I could be sure I’d get on my way.

I actually looked at one of these as my first new car after getting a real job out of school in 1984. It was one strange car even back then, especially with the pods next to the steering wheel (the main reason I even considered the car).

You can get a 15 year old V8 jag in good shape for the same money, probably with a better interior too.
