I flew economy across Norway with a small Norwegian airlines. So spacious, roomy leather seats, excellent service. Nearly like first class except the meal was orange fish paste sandwiches. In fairness, the locals seemed to enjoy them immensely.

Serious question: How rich do you have to be to charter a private jet?

Same story here: couple high schools, graduated early, moved back and forth from Europe a couple times and up and down the West Coast. I have had close friends for many years and then we move and/or change and the friendship fades. Once I did fly across the country to attend the wedding of a friend from my early 20s.

My understanding is some of those women were Nazi sympathizers. Others fraternized with the Nazi occupiers in order to secure food and shelter for themselves and their children in order to survive.

Do you have any DIY skills? I think you’re going to have to look at places well below the median price. The good news is there are lots and the market is cooling. Have you considered places outside the city like Renton?

My Norwegian-American family does a full smorgasbord with herring in wine, herring in sour cream, gravlax, shrimp, ham, cheeses, meatballs in gravy, rye bread and homemade lefse. Yum!

I read that one of her assistants that just left was actually in a temporary position. It makes sense she needed extra help in the run up to the wedding.

I’ve been wondering if they might decamp and go set up a household somewhere in Africa. They could support their charities there, focus on the commonwealth and raise their kid(s) away from the paparazzi.

So many things I don’t understand about this. Why refer to women only in terms of their relationship to men? Plus you’re way, way off. I HATE the stereotype of all women being obsessed with clothes, shoes and handbags. I’m female, professional, upper middle class income level. I’ve never owned a pair of shoes that

Pretty Woman or haven’t you young folks seen that?

Wait......Bo and Sunny have their own apartment in DC now?!

Yeah, I can imagine he’s going to be eating a lot iceberg lettuce “salads”, hold the dressing. Poor guy.

They lived in Butte Co, CA (where they just had that huge fire). They were originally from the same part of KY as my Dad. I tried to emphasis our commonality from that angle with no luck. To be honest, they were right. I had fundamentally different values. They have both passed away. Their son married a nice Christian

Me too. Now I live in Seattle. Don’t mind the weather. REALLY miss good mexican food.

When I was in college, I had a serious boyfriend. I was invited to spend the week before Christmas with his family. His parents went to one of those speaking-in-tongues churches. I was so careful to wear only conservative clothing, no physical contact with my bf, always super sweet and polite etc. His parents told me

Banana Slugs rule!

I’m intrigued by this statement. Care to say more about how you think people viewed relationships and marriage differently in 1976?

I voted the same, but from now on I refuse to use her name. She should only be referred to as Meghan Markle’s Thirsty Sister because that is literally the only reason anyone has heard of her. Come to think of it, there’s no reason to mention her or the father ever again.

If anyone wants to go out and socialize there are associated costs. Hot water, shower gel, shampoo, razor, dry cleaning, transportation. How much cost is entirely dependent on the guest’s individual circumstance. By your logic, the host would be “asking a cover charge” for all of that.
