I’m excited for this, but seriously, whose idea was it to combine this art style with apparently zero anti-aliasing? It looks horrid.

I’m liking Graveyard Keeper too, even though the Switch version is a bit pants.
Didn’t know that. That is legit a huge improvement. Can’t tell you the number of times I totally whiffed in DQB1 because I was just out of range, and then got a bunch of contact damage trying to get in range.
Same. I would much prefer to play this on Switch but the performance demo performance is horrible, and I’ve heard the full game is worse. I don’t know if it’s a consequence of the bigger, more open areas, or just Omega Force’s usual inability to optimize games at all (DQB1 was developed in house by Square Enix). I…
Yes. There is a map and minimap.
Can you talk about the performance? I ended up ordering this for PS4 (despite preferring to play on Switch) because the Switch demo ran at an unlocked 30 fps, usually lower, and I’ve heard it just gets worse as the game goes on. For reference, DQB1 ran at 60 docked on Switch, as does the sequel on PS4.
Unfortunately…
TLDR: Exactly why you think they are—some utter nonsense.
None?
None?
Agreed 100%. Role locking will just create its own boring meta. A moba-like ban system would adjust with the game.
The hostility in this post and in these comments to the concept of getting a refund when the product is not what was promised is pretty telling.
Also:
Honestly, most of what I want is just quality of life/UI stuff.
Adults don’t care where they can purchase a product? News to this adult.
No one is criticizing *developers* for taking Epic’s money, but I think you know that. Misrepresenting an argument because you’d rather refute that fake argument rather than the real one is literally the definition of a straw man. But yeah, thanks for your very smart and not at all dishonest take.
Getting a really bad “2000s movie game” vibe from this one.
I mean, I agree with you about Spider-Man, but that was a different dev team (Insomniac) and publisher (Sony Interactive Entertainment), so it’s not really reason for optimism about this project. If anything, it makes you wonder why this game, coming out 2 years later, looks markedly worse.
It’s almost like, a joke, man.
Need some more straw for that man you’re building?
Cool video, but what’s the remaster look like?
will retail for $180
wtf even is this comment
