Have you checked to see if a very small population of dust mites is building a dyson sphere around your bathroom light? I ask because I checked my flickering bathroom light, and I noticed the mites were stealing cat hair to capture the lights energy.

Maybe the star is just defective, or loose? A lightbulb in my bathroom has been flickering randomly for years, but I’m just too lazy to fix it.
