It’s awful. Our legal system just doesn’t do enough for victims of any kind of abuse. And this is supposed to be the greatest country in the world. Right.

Exactly. Unfortunately, so many domestic abuse victims have to seek underground assistance to get away because the authorities/powers that be/etc. just don’t care.

I saw it many years ago when I was younger and it disturbed the hell out of me. I suppose if you didn’t know whose kidney it was then it wouldn’t matter. I just believe the stories I’ve read that a person’s organs leave an imprint on the person that receives them. That would scare me if it was this fucker’s organs that were being donated.

No unfair about it. If that was my son I would’ve told him to get out of my sight and fend for himself. Or I would’ve gotten the fuck away from him if he was on house arrest at my house. Fuck that. She protected her son.

Doubtful. He probably feels justified in his decision because, in his estimation, there was no threat at the time.

Spousal abuse still is not taken seriously enough. Even after cases like Tracey Thurman’s which brought about The Thurman Law, “authorities” still see domestic violence is a “private matter”. They never take the death threats seriously until death actually happens. So fucked up.

I want to meet that guy. I have some ideas. ;)
