Stopped the video 2 seconds in when I realized they prevent you from clicking through it. There goes the last remnant of desire I had to click on any video on this site. Why do you insist on pulling this UX-unfriendly crap?

Indecisiveness. In the beginning it can be pretty convenient being able to set the schedule yourself and choose where you want to go and what you want to do but after you’re together a while, it becomes very frustrating when they just won’t decide. Then you provide your own idea and they turn it down. Then you pick!…
I don’t know anything about 12 Dates of Christmas (or HBO Max for that matter) but I’ve seen it listed on numerous lists of shows on the big purge HBO Max did recently. Is it still on it?
Their argument is that pirates are getting around Denuvo protection on PC games by emulating the Switch version instead such as with Two Point Campus and Sonic games.
Wouldn’t mind a reference for the true cause of RE:Village issues and why that resource is more reliable than the countless ones claiming it’s a combination (if not Denuvo itself). Secondly, variable results don’t void the point. It just means it doesn’t consistently impact everyone on all setups. Even Ars which…
One example, Katsuhiro Harada, Director of Tekken, straight up admitted Denuvo was the cause of issues. Also, going as far back as Arkham Knight, while many said the change in gameplay wasn’t significant, it did cause for longer load times. Thirdly, from what I can find looking now, it seems it was Capcom’s…
Definitely looking into picking this up on PC if 1) performance reviews decently and 2) it’s not infected with crippling Denuvo malware.
Those machines are great, when they’re functional. It seems 8 out of 10 times I interact with one, they’re either out of a majority of flavors or the machine is down all together. They really are like printers.
Gesture shortcuts are not to be under utilized as well, if available in your launcher. Using Nova, in addition to the icons on the homescreen, I also utilize numerous gestures such as a double-tap opens my password manager, double-tap and swipe up brings up the Play Store, etc. It’s a great way to have additional short…
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt in this exact scenario since I’m unfamiliar with it, but in my vast soda-consuming experience, fountain of any type ranks near the bottom of consumption methods, landing just a notch above the garbage shared-nozzle at bars. Maybe the tank thing makes a huge difference.
It helps if you have reliable family members who don’t try to earn rewards for themselves. You can run their large purchases through your card and hit the amount much faster. Our in-laws use our store memberships in exchange for checking out on our card and paying us directly for whatever they spend. Win-win.
No kidding. I, to this day, have no idea what’s the point of in-app browsers. They claim ‘faster browsing’ but are no faster for me than a full browser. They just lack all the functionality making them next to useless. The argument for helping keep you in app doesn’t seem to work either since it’s a single gesture…
Strange. I’m on 11, found a webp with transparency, opened it with Paint, went to save it as PNG and it warned me transparency would be removed.
That works as long as there’s no transparency and you aren’t concerned about whether you’re grabbing the full quality of the image.
Wouldn’t Paint kill transparency?
Having just recently jumped on the ultrawide train, I agree. Gaming with it’s a blast.
For 4K/60, the official specs image says it requires a 3080/6950XT with a 12700K/5900X and 32GB RAM. For 4K/30 or 1440/60, it takes a 3070/6900XT with a 11600K/3700X and 16GB RAM.
I’m not even completely against the idea of subscriptions for apps, even outside of the obvious such as media streaming, but they need to warrant the consistent payment. Is considerable new content being added regularly? Does it need frequent updates to keep functioning properly? Does it cost a constant resource to…
Great concept (and seeming execution from what I’ve seen on YouTube about it) but it’s a perfect example of something that has no business being a subscription instead of a one-time unlock. Sure, 1.25 a month looks miniscule in a vacuum but if we accept them on every app under the sun, they accumulate fast. Love the…
I much prefer physical media but I hate the way it’s going with video games. It’s always at least one of: 1) they don’t include the entire game on the media, requiring a massive download to play the game regardless, 2) require an online connection even when one shouldn’t be necessary for the game to function, 3) even…
