LOL, "fool of a Took", that sums up the Hound's rock-throwing perfectly! Thank you for the laugh, after this dismal ep I needed that.

So true. As a cat lady I get how Dany feels about her dragons… and seeing one die cut me to the core :(

Yes, this, too. Dany takes one dragon for the Loot Train Attack, but ALLLLLL three of her babies to the North? It was a dumb plan and it needlessly killed one of her dragons. It made me so mad.

Really? Then I retract my reply below. In such a stupid episode, it was easy to believe they'd forgotten the Dragonglass, too. It wouldn't have surprised me.

Yes, I kept shouting, "Where's the Dragonglass, you fools!!" What was the point of all the begging from Jon for Dany's help and mining the glass if Jon didn't use it? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

"Too much is getting lost", yes, like logic.

I don't want to watch GoT just to point and laugh (but then cry when my heart is wrenched over a dragon getting killed…) and that's why I'm considering giving it up.

I hate when good shows go bad in their final seasons.
I will cling to the great final seasons of Monk and Psych.

Fire doesn't kill Walkers, remember when the Children of the Forest set a ring of fire around the tree that Bran was in? The Walkers just walked right through it. But, yeah, fire could've cleared a path for Jon to kill the NK. See, THIS is why this "plan" needed more planning before it could be called a "plan"!

Good point, although I'm a little unclear on how exactly wights are "made". Does the NK or another zombie need to raise them personally?

ITA with every word of this review. I really think this ridiculous and unnecessary "let's send our best fighters to kidnap a wight for no good reason" was this show's "jump the shark" moment. And it was yet another bad idea of Tyrion's! Sheesh, Tyrion's IQ has suffered this season.
I absolutely hated this episode for

It reminded me of "It's A Wonderful Life" — the bad things did happen. but only Nick knows because they were reversed, just as George Bailey knew what it would've been like if he was never born.

Well, it should be, but I see what you're saying, just today a WA state homeowner who killed a home invader in self-defense has been charged with 2nd degree murder, altho, I doubt a jury will convict since the law is on the side of the homeowner.
The detectives said during Celeste's police interview, "Why lie? It

Thanks, I didn't recognize Gordon in that dim lighting. It's a shame most of the men were in a fight with each other, the stereotype of men is that they can have a fistfight and then make up and go for a beer together, lol. Obviously not Gordon. Or Nathan.

I was very, very happy with the finale, except for the epilogue. It should've ended with the group hug because it was perfect for both Team Juliette (me) and Team Adalind. It was ambiguous as to who Nick would end up with and I liked that since it Nadalind was pushed hard. The epilogue seemed to cement Nick with

Rarely does TV offer such a satisfying end. Wow. I felt the cold sense of doom right from the beginning to the end. Seeing these women form this sisterhood of protecting one another had me sobbing. It was really good.
At the start of this series, I was worried I wouldn't be able to look at Alexander Skarsgard in

Cersei never loved anyone except herself.

Cersei "ashamed"? LOL. Cersei is incapable of feeling "shame". She was too busy raping and torturing that female Septon to care one whit about her child. A loving mother would've known that her son would be depressed after she murdered his WIFE. But, not Cersei. I hope the showrunners stop shoving "Cersei loves her

I've been worried about how/if Sansa will refuse LF's demand for her hand as payment for his help: but it just occurred to me! After LF betrayed Ned Stark, framed Sansa for Joffrey's murder, and then gave her to Ramsey, he owes HER, not the other way around. Whew. LF really ought to be thrown through the Moon Door

A few seasons back, Sam met up with Bran and told Jon about it. So at least they've had a little update about him. But nothing recently…
