Eh, people aren’t buying many plug-ins because most of them are not compelling vehicles. In the US, Model S outsells all of its similarly-priced ICE rivals because it’s a good car. If manufacturers want electrics to sell well, then they’ll have to design them so they’re desirable.

Here’s the thing. For all the hype about redefining mobility and transforming connectivity or whatever, it’s still a very traditional hypercar concept. It’s as if they’re using these buzzwords simply to stand out in the crowded automotive space, rather than to actually come up with new ways of getting around.
