They didn't plan to have a rager ..just a few friends getting together. And we've seen him hang at Pop's w/Veronica and Kevin, so I don't get why their presence would be such a game changer for him. Not Betty's fault the party got crashed

Jughead is extra obnoxious all the time on this show ..pretentious, inflexible, self centered, overly dramatic
I'm fine with Val breaking up with Archie - high school relationships are fickle, and maybe Archie was ignoring her, who knows. But she was being totally unreasonable at the party ..there's no reason for her to react that way to Archie. It's not like he cheated on her or did some other terrible thing.
Tone-deaf train wreck …how so?
I think the line actually makes perfect sense ..final as in permanent as opposed to open ended, the difference between being separated and being divorced. Thought it was a natural response from Archie given what his dad was telling him
Interesting ..I had no idea about all this. Yeah sucks it's too late to replace her
“Maybe I’m just meant to be alone.”
The look on Archie's face after Veronica says "famous last words, Archiekins" …. I swoooooned. Archie and Veronica have to be end game. But first he should hook up with Cheryl
No it's most definitely not true to his character. Having a soft spot for someone doesn't translate to dating. And in any case in the comic books he's staunchly anti-girl and never dates
As a lifelong reader of the comics …I'm sorry but I still can't get over Betty/Jughead as a couple. I HATE IT. It is so not true to the characters
Interesting didn't know that ..I had thought the prosecution can bring in character witnesses and things like that. So there's this, and then the terrible cross ex by the defense regarding the glass cut on the hand, no discussion of the lack of blood on Naz, didn't cover all the stuff Katz discovered in his…
That he "always had it in him" - I can't reconcile that with any of his behavior/demeanor in the first episode. Nothing about him then reflected anything remotely cold blooded.
Yeah. I would say the first episode was really good and felt unique ..the amount of suspense and sense of dread they were able to create was legit. Still enjoyable after that but not worthy of critical acclaim.
Yeah I agree, I think one of the themes of the show is how the criminal justice system fails all of us - the accused, the victim, family, society. Nobody who can actually affect the outcome really cares about much more than their own self interests.
I don't agree he's "no longer innocent" because of that ..it's about survival in prison, and after 2 violent acts and other threats against Naz when he first arrived it's naive and unfair to think he has the luxury to prioritize morality above all
Yeah not a reveal ..they discussed the name and then showed him getting the tattoo a couple episodes ago
Yeah should be 5th grade, don't they say he's 23yo and its 2014
Yes this. The cross-ex was I guess at least better this week than last but still so inadequate. There's a ton of uncertainty that can be cast on many aspects of this case and they're not taking advantage of it
