Well, you sniped StarControl before I got here ... sigh ...

I agree entirely ... especially given how absurdly stupid most puzzle solutions were, and how hard they worked to prevent one from solving any puzzle in the obvious and straightforward way. When Full Throttle let me punch a door open, it was one of the most satisfying moments I can remember in adventure gaming. Of…
I have been a gamer forever, but have always steered clear of minis gaming until recently. What finally tipped me over the edge was being stuck in a mid-sized Japanese town with no gamers whatsoever, and then discovering a local gaming scene that was almost entirely focused on Warmachine. Oddly enough. So, I figured,…
My parents have so many books. I enjoyed picking them up off the floor after a major earthquake, and several years later, moving them to another house. So many books. I, too, was once on the way towards acquiring a large personal library. Then I moved to another country, and became a permanent nomad who will probably…
Nah, this was my fifth game. My opponent, also a noob, had to go, so we called it. The other people in my group play with proper DeathKloks and Steamroller rules.
I am pretty sure the Vikings did not have crates. They may not have had proper barrels, either. Both of them take a ton of iron for the nails, something that was too valuable to waste on utilitarian items like that. Also, Viking iron tended to be pretty crappy, and would have made bad nails I bet.
I remember KQ6 and 7. Watching my cousin slowly plow through them, when I had been stuck fairly early, was what finally made me realize that I was just bad at puzzles and don’t really enjoy adventure games.
I am presuming that was moving books as part of a job in a library of some sort, an that those boxes did not once contain your own personal books. Because that would be insane.
All the talk about how good NMS has become has made me consider picking it up. At release, I kind figured that it was going to be what it ended up being at release - an aimless wander-around - and wasn’t interested. Now it sounds pretty fun.
Prey infused me with so much love for Arkane that I kinda want to try Dishonored again ... but I hate stealthing so much, and I hate being guilted for not-stealthing.
Nah, to this date there has not been a pro-athlete who has brought in more than a billion while still an athlete, and the list of the top 10 richest does not include a single football player. Football’s Collective Bargaining Agreement is really pretty terrible for the players, and when you combine that with the fairly…
Gameological has always been a place of positivity and light. Let’s keep off-site criticism off-site, eh?
I have found things with NBA2K17 to be rather similar. I am a big NBA fan - I do fantasy and stuff, listen to podcasts about the league during August, check RotoWorld most every day, etc — but I have never played basketball (aside from a sad and failed attempt through the YMCA in my elementary years) and I have never…
Well, watching a sports game as an eSport has the inherent advantage of decades of media attention having more or less figured out how to make the game visually intelligible — something that most eSports have yet to really crack. MOBA’s are minimally watchable, yes ... but ...
