He hasn’t had the virus in the past 7 months. People love anecdotal evidence.

mrrrow my fear is that he’ll come back from his mild symptoms crowing about how COVID is no worse than the flu and demanding we open up everything immediately.

turtleage?

you make the (wrong) assumption that all 28,000 of these employees are full time. I assure you the bulk of them are not.

Kids, especially teens, aren’t adults when it comes to making good decisions and impulse control and what not. But when the rest of the world isn’t giving a whit, how do we expect teens to? The messaging has been conflicting and confusing by design. Cities aren’t enforcing their mandates. People are so eager to get

Waiting times are?

My father died of non-hodgkins lymphoma. he suddenly was sick with what they thought was a bad flu. it came on fast and within a week he was gone. His whole body was filled up and swollen to the point where he couldn’t breathe anymore.

The kind of medical care you get as a low-income person is not quality. you often

sadly, no one does, kids or adults. I just had to pick up an order of cat food for myself and the majority of people outside aren’t wearing masks. They’re also mostly in their 20s and 30s. restaurant patios filled with no one wearing masks. outdoor beer gardens full of people, some with masks, most without.

this exactly. if folks wonder why we don’t yet have socialized medicine that works, this is why.

You are not alone in that by far. it’s like this for so many people and it’s unconscionable that folks refuse to acknowledge this reality, except in “medicare for all!” soundbites. Folks are really, really hurting and it has a severe impact on their ability to function. Gosh I haven’t even mentioned the issues with

Your point was that herbs can treat PTSD?”
Not at all. My point was that herbal and traditional medicine is not “quackery” and calling any medical practice that isn’t western medicine “quackery” is xenophobic and racist.
Again, still arguing in bad faith. Dismissing this and anything else you reply.

No one should be encouraging anyone to travel during a pandemic.

no it doesn’t.

Both of you failed to take into account how these things would work for households with children or with disabilities. Which is a pretty big oversight IMHO. I’m not keen on this “it’s ridiculous and unnecessary because these two abled young men don’t have a use for it” angle, at all.

I see you’re arguing in bad faith: refusing to address the points made and also constantly changing the goalposts. My point still stands.
I’m beginning to wonder if you’re a TPUSA plant, quite honestly.

What are the waiting list times like for those charities? Do you know? Are they anything like getting an organ transplant?

I’m beginning to wonder if you’re not a TPUSA plant.
