A trained assassin killing someone is not a deus ex machina.

This is on whoever wrote the headline, not necessarily Katie, but how the hell is 65-year-old Dennis Quaid, playing a MAGA-hat wearing rural guy, a “yuppie?”

New York disclosed the co-author’s affiliation in a press release

It’s unclear to me how the omission makes the story more difficult to understand. It might influence your assessment of the story’s reliability, but this is a different judgment than understanding the story, whatever is meant by understanding there.

I don’t get it. Does this cast doubt on the story somehow?

The love of my life passed away Wednesday.  There wasn’t any warning or sickness or anything.  He kissed me goodbye, left for work, and passed away from a heart attack. My heart is broken. We were together for seven years and had a fairytale kind of love.  We literally never once had a fight, ever.  He did everything

So I’ve been a bit peeved that *so much* focus among “progressives” has been on free college. Yes, student debt is stifling (ask me about my remaining 27k balance) and yes, it’s an issue that touches young voters.... but college is still a privilege that largely benefits the white middle/upper class. While it’s a

I’m so excited to see how this all plays out for TYRONE

THE UNHERALDED EROTICISM OF BLACKSMITHING

Think Jon probably should have sat on that information until after the battle.

Shelter Cat Update!

God this is so cringy. I was 19 and needed to look super, extra hot and sexy and attractive for my new bf, so after reading one incredibly dumb article in Cosmo, I followed their advice to shave - ummm, his initial - uh - down there. I spent a good twenty minutes perfecting it in the mirror and felt super sexy and

Agreed! I supported Sanders in 2016 initially, but I think Warren takes the best parts of Clinton and Sanders and makes this amazing person. I guess the problem with Warren is since she only really has one piece of baggage, it just makes it that much more noticeable. Still, I hope people don't write her off, and she

Thank you for this article. I started out fully onboard with Bernie (though I supported Clinton in the primaries in 2016), because I’m a leftist and I believe we need a strong left candidate to help drag the Overton Window to the left after 40 years of rightward drift. But Warren impresses me more every day and I have

Can we pieces like these on all the candidates? TIA

So what? Maybe he likes his mom? Maybe she keeps him grounded. I truly think that people who haven’t lost a parent can’t understand how much that experience makes you value the one you have left.

If a woman isn’t on the 2020 ticket in some way, shape or form I’mma lost my SHIT. People get really irrational with me when I make this demand, this craaaazy idea that 1 of 46 presidents should be a woman. The only women running I’m not excited about are Gabbard and Klobuchar.

Her focus on policy is one of the reasons she’s my top pick right now. I have a really hard time imagining much of this being enacted, but I love that she’s putting them out there, and wish the media would give more attention to this than to the horse race stuff they usually focus on (not you all).

I’d be suspicious of anyone traveling to Colorado who’s first in-state purchase is a weapon, rather than cannabis (like a normal person). 4/20 is an important day for non-Columbine (or Hitlery) reasons.
