That actually doesn’t look nearly as bad as I thought it might. Looks even watchable for an episode or two to see how they are able to mix the nostalgia and cheese with the updated social commentary. Hm.

The creepiest part is the 80s shopping mall picture of the twins in the top main bedroom and the reeeeally narrow bedroom with a lone dvd on the shelf.

The ending of the movie was perfection.

The show was disjointed as all heck and I still have trouble forgiving it for glorifying that stiletto rape scene, but its highs were tremendous, and episode 8 will go down as the most frightened I’ve ever been by a tv show, right up there with Hill House. It’ll be a while before I shake the image of those ghost girls

It’s so, so good.

First off, that first quarter of the episode was way too real. A horror movie, almost. Made me feel uncomfortable given the state of the world.

I know it’s hip now to hate on SBC since Borat became such as over-quoted cultural institution in the mid-2000's but I appreciate him and that trailer put a smile on my face.

So this definitely seems like it’s heading with a split of the team into twos, with one team of less powerful supes joining Butcher and the gang underground.

Now that I’ve rewatched the episode, what stood out is Homelander’s joke about not knowing Black Noir’s identity. My guess is it’s going to be tied with that. Hopefully it’s not something silly like he/she is attracted to Butcher.

Antony Starr is so, so good in this. Like, perfect for this role.

The Washington Lady A's.

This season is much better than the first one though still not great. ‘Ovation’ was horrid. I have a feeling another episode that will be lambasted is ‘8' but I loved it just for the sheer audacity of it. Without spoiling anything, it would’ve been better if they just followed through with that ending and showed it

Perhaps this is due to my low expectations and not knowing anything about Eurovision but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I was expecting something akin to Watson and Holmes but instead got something that was actually sweet and very watchable. Not incredibly funny but good-natured and well put together.

I really hope this is better than season one and fulfills the promise shown in the first half of “Replay”.

Agreed. I’d watch any of those actors in stuff. Brie is incredible and made even Horse Girl watchable, Stevens has terrific range, Vand kicks butt and deserves more roles, and Huss and JAW have tons of charisma.

Good to see Jeremy Allen White in stuff outside of Shameless.

This show is so good. Guerrero and Fraser are especially highlights, though in fairness the others weren’t given as much good material as those two.

Huh? I live in Australia. We literally just lifted our lockdown this week one level. Hardly ‘for awhile now’. And this was done because are rates of infection are so low, with only a few community-to-community transmissions across the entire country. It’s not like we’re the US or Brasil. Reading things would be nice,
