Large multi-client programs like these are super stressful to work on too. I definitely feel for the people that worked that entire 20hours + to fix the issue.

Yeah, I can absolutely appreciate it. It’s like the complexity of a huge website like WalMart.com, only with a ton of code on the client side as well. Not just having to maintain the website, but the web browser as well. That level of complexity.

Yeah, I’m out here getting killed by random enemies. No words can be said for how much skill she has.

It’s crazy that japenese porn blurs out pussies yet Ted Cruz’s face is allowed to be freely published in its natural state.

I was honestly surprised and deeply disappointed rear paddles didn’t become standard this new console generation.

I feel like Scuf bungled the paddle placements on the Reflex. Four paddles can be perfectly comfy if done right. Xbox Elite is an excellent example. The Steam Deck’s aren’t bad either (at least in terms of placement; they do feel a bit stiff). Razer Wolverine’s are also great.

This is painful but our priority is providing shareholders with more zeros in their balance sheets.

Maybe a Sting concert will lessen the pain.

There are two entirely separate sets of legislation.

And I’ll be just as bad at it as all those combined. But that’s okay, because as I always tell people, soulslike games aren’t about being good, its about being too damn stubborn and stupid to give up. And I’m very stupid.

I played through The Witcher 3 twice and I never looked at any map icons at all - ignorance is bliss.

While I loathe the original concept of their leaked new OGL and glad they got the pushup they received, it is important to remember WoTC is a company, not a charity. They exist to make money first and foremost, as all companies do. The original OGL was written before digital content was even really a thing, D&D was

“You could hear them giggling the whole time”

Maybe I was just inexperienced and naive, but it seems to me like nowadays being in charge, being at the top is completely disconnected from accountability (even in the most capitalist sense of it) and imputability.

I feel like I’m more generous/out of touch that to me it still means this:

The word Ubisoft to me, is now synonymous with Games As A Service and Microtransactions. Until they get back to making good, complete games without those toxic game dev concepts, I will continue to hesitate to buy or straight out avoid their products.

You had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

If you’re an executive, you’re in charge of what happens at your company. You can’t take the big 1% checks without also taking the responsibility.

Yes there are a fuckton of configurations with some being more efficient than others. The real reason they are recommending the more RAM is more likely due to the fact that they have no idea what else the user may be running while the game is running. The console systems have the advantage that they are generally just

I think this has a lot to do with it, yes.
