Yeah and unfortunately Sony is literally the reason why its happening. They aren’t just happy with just 1st party stuff. They pay to keep 3rd party stuff out to Final Fantasy being a really annoying one. But they have the nerve to cry about this? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we have already hit the point of

Get a Steamdeck and never look back.

It’s the same argument video games went through over a decade ago—and which we have collectively just shrugged and moved on from—when people found out the DLC they were buying was already on the disc they bought.

I buy almost every Sony exclusive day one. They are that good. But to see them tremble at the thought of Microsoft making CoD a platform exclusive is a bit hypocritical. They’re getting a taste of their own medicine.

Microsoft has a bit of a history of not releasing games; at least as far as cancelling announced games go their track record is worse than Sony and Nintendo. So the question becomes “has Phil figured out how to get games out the door while simultaneously ensuring a high quality?” Those are two major hurdles for the

Once again Nintendo gets a pass. “Exclusivity is bad” unless your name begins with N.

Not that I especially disagree with your concern about the merger, but uh... can you think of a time when you *didn’t* have to own all three consoles to play everything? Because going back to the 8-bit era, console exclusives have always been the primary differentiator, regardless of market consolidation. If anything,

Please Phil, tell us how well you’ve done taking over the Xbox division and spending a whole generation preparing for this one. Tell us all about it as you blame your bad stable of first-party games, lack of first-party games despite multiple other acquisitions, and are apparently a massive, multi-billion dollar

He should join Congress, then doing that would be perfectly ok.

Why would a laser rifle need a silencer?  Is light loud?

If you’ve never seen it, look up G-PHORIA, the 2003 G4 video game awards show. It’s the most tone deaf idiotic and of-its-time version of this, and they just shamelessly hand nearly every award to GTA: Vice City. To the point they very clearly had to come up with some other award names to accommodate anything else

Like every big awards show, the Game Awards are a sham. Triple-A games always sweep, there’s a few come-from-behind indie wins, Nintendo gets the “Best Family Game” just like Disney always gets the “Best Animation” at the Oscars, most games that are worthy of an award get nothing. I don’t know how the hell Neon White

Some people think really well-written conversations can be fascinating.

I’ve never really thought about the fact that I maybe don’t need to hate the Elden Ring crafting system, because you are right, it can be completely ignored and I most certainly stopped using it very quickly.
I’d agree that the weapon upgrades don’t really count. Maxing out your gear is all part of the game.
And yes I

People laugh, but this is exactly the sort of stuff that makes Destiny special. The secrets are always intricate, weird, and cool, and watching the community solve puzzles (or determine a lack thereof) is a ton of fun.

“I got this wrong, and I take responsibility for that.””

No, Mark, you are making 11,000 other people take responsibility for that. You are taking no responsibility.

It wasn’t difficult once you get used to the battle controls. The roll was hard to get used to. It is ridiculous, because it sends you halfway across the screen; so on one hand, when you evade, you really evade, but on the other hand, you’ve got to be careful not to roll into something on the other side of the level.

I

I’m 36 years old and have been gaming since I was like 6. It has been my primary hobby. I have always had the latest console and for the last 20 years, a top of the line PC.

I. SUCK. AT. GAMING. I’m just not good at it. Maybe my reaction times are shit. Maybe my coordination is poor. Maybe I just don’t get pleasure

Recently I’ve been dropping the difficulty more often if something is frustrating and I’m just not enjoying the challenge. I dropped the difficulty on the third boss of Cult of the Lamb for this reason. There was a difficulty spike and I just wasn’t feeling the game and wanted to get it over with.

The thing was I

There’s nothing more pathetic than some incel simping for Musk. Seek help.
