A slightly different take on Broaddrick’s version of events:

Setting aside anything having to do with Bill, I just can’t buy her story about the Hillary Clinton encounter.

He’s not in the same league- for white people. I guarantee you there were a lot of people of color that laughed harder at The Nightly Show than they ever did at Colbert, Stewart, or Bee. The fact that the latter can continue with their careers while Wilmore and his predecessors (W. Kamau Bell, e.g.) get cancelled just

I dunno, I actually liked his delivery quite a bit and prefer him to Trevor Noah. I think he brought some of the bewilderedness and amused aghastness that Jon Stewart was always good for but with a sharper bent of political satire vs. the bro-ishness of Trevor Noah. The show was a little rough around the edges and the

I am of two minds on this... the customer can F*@ck Off is the European service model, which when dealing with awful customers, might not be a bad thing. However when your just an average lady on vacation and expect someone to whom you’re paying money to give average service - it get’s really old, really fast.

What he’s doing is brand protection. He can’t charge the amount he’s charging to his maintain customer base because a minority is degrading the brand as just toys.

I’m so saddened by this. I really saw The Nightly Show as the heir to Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell. It was really funny and offered a much needed diverse presence in late night in terms of guests and correspondents. Plus, I lived for the hilarious segments by Felonious Monk. This sucks.

I agree - I always thought his delivery was weird and stilted - even though his commentary itself was interesting and spot on. In the beginning, I thought he was just not used to being in front of a camera, but he just never improved.

AND SO DIVERSE TOO! Ugh. Everything is dumb. :(

Damnit, once I finally gave up on Trevor Noah, Wilmore was all I had left. Where will I get my political/social satire now?

This is incredibly disappointing. It had a rocky start, but his show was really finding its groove and doing important (and funny!) stuff. I hope Larry gets the chance to take his voice and talents elsewhere, a la Sam Bee and John Oliver. Thanks for keeping it 100, Larry.

I’m disappointed, but not surprised. Wilmore is obviously a strong writer with great ideas, but I personally didn’t think his on-screen presence was very compelling.

I spent a semester in England, and as an American I was frequently surprised how often English shop and restaurant owners could give a shit whether you gave them any business. I was at a restaurant once with a small group of other American students, one of whom was completely insufferable. After complaining several

Interesting business model.

Breitbart got so frustrated by all the liberal lying liar polls lying that Clinton is beating Trump that they contracted a polling company to poll a right thinking non-lying poll.

I made the mistake of reading the comments on that article last night and am honestly still sort of amazed by how many people really, truly do believe - despite proof - that voter fraud is a huge issue (and also that Hillary somehow rigged the primaries and is rigging the election. Also isn’t it ironic that this rage

You know, it was funny watching Rove’s head implode on election night 2012. When he literally got up from his desk, walked into the polling rooms, and started asking everyone how Obama won. And I remember that lady that posted that hour long YouTube video lamenting Obama’s victory and her cursing out Republicans for

I’m really starting to get worried that this sort of talk is going to incite violence on election night. Because when he loses, the portion of ABSOLUTELY INSANE society that he has legitimized and riled up will be absolutely irrevocably convinced that the world has ended and they’re therefore free to go on shooting

there was a statistic that there were somewhere like 31 official cases of voter fraud out of 1 BILLION votes cast.

The basic stance Trump supporters have adopted is something like: “We’ve nominated a candidate who is completely incompetent, disturbingly unhinged, and completely offensive to larges sections of the population. He has done nothing to build a coalition or even run a campaign. ALL THE POLLS ARE FAKED AND IF WE LOSE
