Funny, I am French and we have the same thing for Anglo-Saxon names sur as Brandon, Jennifer... they really mean watching too much bad TVshows

As I am not American, do you know why black 1st names differ so much and can be identified even by someone like me : a French person interested in US culture and reading news magazines, books, films in English.

No it is an old-fashioned French name. And even the nickname of a wine cocktail in southwest France (wine, lemonade and grenadine, I know, this sounds and tastes bad).

But what you just don not grasp is that most European muslims do not oppose to gays, and let alone want to kill them, it is a ridiculous thought. Most French muslims are do not care about it, and would be like moderate religious people, like christians : bothered by gays, opposed to gays marriage and no more.
