For the love of God no, please don’t bring back random perks to loot. The reason I quit D1 was the worthless nature of most of the “legendaries” in Y2, you grind and grind and grind for guns that you want that end up having a shitty or mediocre set of perks. Doing that mostly endlessly was stupid and disheartening.

100% agree, at least in the PvE sandbox. Moving them to the power slot was clearly done with balancing the PvP aspect in mind, but in my experience all it has done is made PvP matches a series of 4v4 fights over heavy ammo spawns. Sure it’s more balanced, but is it fun?

for the love of the traveler no, pvp feels so great now, where it use to be non-stop anger inducing snipes and slide shotgun, now when you get killed by those weapons it feels more like “yeah, you earned that kill.”

I never really sussed out what the reason for the kinetic/energy split was. In D1 the elemental thing was more of a flavor perk than an honest to glob mechanic. I’d much rather have a shotgun or sniper in a secondary slot, because as power weapons I will never equip them over a rocket launcher or a sword.

At this point, Xur should just be handing out legendaries, because really, except for the mission based exotics, he’s given out just about everything at this point. It really takes away from the excitement and uniqueness of having an exotic when you know you can just eventually score it through Xur. It reminds me of

They need to move shotguns and snipers back to energy weapons. They feel worthless in a power slot. Give random perks back to weapons and armor, no reason to grind for good rolls anymore. The mod system seems like a total after thought. As a hardcore Destiny 1 player I’m very disappointed in the end game and lack of

This really isn’t that terribly common in games... And players are mad because they took what was already a great system and ruined it for the sake of getting just a tiny bit more $$$. Bungie went backwards on this one, big time.

Destiny 1 gave you permenant shaders, why should the sequel make you pay for it? Shader were locked behind RNG and they even had a tier list for them. FFS There were Legendary grade Color Schemes which were only available during certain times.

Stupid comparison. Dye in Diablo 3 costs like 500 gold, which is so negligible it might as well not cost anything, and is not RNG based at all. Shaders in Destiny are RNG based, consumable (now), and are being offered for real money.

So, Guild Wars 2 makes dyes unlockable. Once you’ve got it, you’ve got it. Mechwarrior Online does the same. Those are just two off the top of my head. And here’s another thing - these shaders CAN’T be paid for using in-game currency. It would be EXACTLY like buying a lootbox in Overwatch and getting a sweet new

Except it is not that. Was Diablo real money? I do not know this part.

You have to buy them with actually currency, not in game currency. That’s the main issue. Having them be one time use is annoying but liveable.

Because you can’t just buy the shaders you want. It’s RNG based behind a paywall.

This is some petty shit and I am living for it.

You have no idea how bad I wish I could provide a brag photo as a way of shutting down the fatties don’t get hotties argument...but let’s just say one is a pro MMA fighter

a) keep doin’ you

As a fat woman who gets plenty of the sex with plenty different types of people, many of whom look in a way that even thin folks consider “holy shit hot” territory, let me assure you— feeling insecure about how you look in the sack has nothing to do with weight and everything to do with patriarchally enforced
