Good timing for this post. I recently was told by a friend that I have a habit of speaking too soon and I interrupt people. I kind of known about this for years but I’m trying to fix it.

I like this advice, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with interupting (especially if it’s with enthusiasm, like, “What? Me too!”), as long as you acknowledge you interupted the person and let them get back to what they were saying. Most people just don’t do that.

Pro-tip: Actually listen to people.
