I definitely had my suspicions last week, the accent and the reference to her drug problems made it seem likely. The text message coming from a different number, however, made me doubt myself. I don't like what this could be opening up though, a small memory problem is one thing but the hallucinations and the fact he

i get that, but because it's so easy to do it in the studio they overuse car scenes. The same conversation could be achieved by just having them say the lines while walking down the street on the way to their destination. I understand the benefits of using it when a car scene is needed but really, how often is a car

The use of greenscreen in car scenes is such a pet peeve of mine, especially when one is not necessary, it just completely takes you out of the scene. For some reason, almost no tv shows has sucessfully managed to make using greenscreen in cars look realistic and yet they still continue to use them all the time.

I had heard that rumour but never knew where it came from so thanks for the links. Personally i don't believe that's what happened, but i have to admit that it would make sense. Mindy has always been very open about how attracted she was to Chris Messina and you could tell that made him uncomfortable whenever it was

I don't think it mattered that the movie tanked, Chris Messina wanted to do more drama not necessarily 'become a star'

I think the Mindy Project definitely suffered from focussing too much on Danny/Mindy and not developing the other characters enough. Danny and Mindy were the best thing about the show from the very start but not developing the other characters enough meant that when Chris Messina left, the show just lost it's spark.

Parks and Rec is one of the only recent-ish shows i can think of that managed to do the long term relationship thing well, managing to tow the line between being boring or overly dramatic. Ben/Leslie and April/Andy were both great couples.

Was I the only one confused by how the vigilante found his 'victims'? When Sherlock was talking about how he catfished the men he mentioned that he originally listed their age as 18 and then revealed they were underage later. Surely this attracts a different kind of predator? A lonely guy who has no moral compass

That's exactly what I was thinking when he said it, Indonesia is known for being extremely intolerant towards drugs and 10kg is a lot, he basically gave him a death sentence. I get that Sherlock doesn't always play by the law but it seemed a bit of an extreme punishment to me. Something tells me the writers didn't

Your comment actually made me think of exactly what they did with Mycroft and how he came between Joan and Sherlock. It may be the same premise this time, Sherlock tries to warn her that something is off with Shinwell and she ignores him thinking that it is jealousy. I really hope that they have a bit more creativity

You do make a valid point, she has shown in the past that she does value their relationship a lot and her behaviour does seem to indicate that. I guess it is just easy to forget as all the dramatic moments seem to be framed so that Sherlock is the one making some deep declaration of devotion to her and so it seems

I agree, it felt odd to see the extent she went to get on that award. I get that it was something that Gregson wanted, but did it mean that much to him really? Also I found it strange that she kept it from Sherlock when she knew exactly how much he didn't want it. She could have tried to convince him before she took

This episode didn't sit well with me, which was hopefully their intention in order to re-explore the theme later on(in which case I commend them on a brilliant 100th ep), and not just another case of Sherlock needing to learn how to be a "proper human"(eye roll included).
The thing for me is that it has become
