$10 bucks says Papa Pope is the first alien reveal.

Like American Horror Story: Asylum was a set up for aliens? Ugh.

Right? It's really saying something that Grey's is, at this point, her most "normal" show and, like, 30 natural disasters have occurred.

...why did she need to look at the photos "several times"*?

I've always wondered why this seems to escape Jezebel staff and readers (as opposed to, say, Woody Allen).

Scotch eggs are wonderful creations. Eaten with some Colman's mustard? Heavenly.

I guess no one can argue that he didn't know what he was doing was wrong...

I kind of wonder if it's her "no asshole" policy that makes us realize that they're even assholes in the first place*^. Like, maybe some shows just do their best to hide all of that drama.

I don't think it's any one thing. I think the hyper-masculinization (so not a word haha) of men plays a big part but I don't think that and sexism are mutually exclusive. In fact, they're very related.

I can see your point. But basically what you're saying is that men are just uncontrollably selfish and can't help but lash out violently? Maybe I'm just lucky, but none of the men in my life would do that. I think we can give men a little more credit than that.

So why does this happen so often? I don't doubt that this man is dealing with some sort of mental issue. But this very specific crime of hurting (or even killing) women because of rejection has been happening alarmingly often, so I think you'll find that it's a combination of our "rape culture" and "male

Maybe great went too far, but I appreciate the fact that she doesn't let criticism affect her.

Gwynnie, please don't make me like you.

That gif of Jessica Lange is the absolute best thing I have ever seen in my life.

My exact thought.

I eye-rolled this hard after just reading the title, but now I actually get it. This guy is a genius. A semi-rich tourist in NYC who doesn't want to wait in line at the TKTS booth would totally do this.

Excellent response from her. I'm glad she realized she doesn't need to apologize. Good for her for making such a strong, unwavering, and feminist statement.

It seems like she thinks if she pays enough to her attorneys the attorneys will just be able to get her acquitted. Not how it works, lady. If you did something very clearly illegal and there's proof, there's not a whole lot an attorney can do, no matter how good they are.

A very good point. You have to affirmatively say you understand what you're doing.

Oh come on! Any lawyer with half a brain (or at least the kind they can afford) will make sure to explain the possible repercussions of a plea deal. I don't buy that she didn't know she could still go to jail for a second.
