But they don’t really. I mean sure an amp is a speaker, but its task in to just amplify 1 channel of sound. All of their non-amp speakers by Fender are just re-branded gear, their monitors are by Focal and their consumer gear is also made by a third party. Even this VW speaker setup is actually made by Panasonic not

Get a 4 door Golf, on a newer platform. More practical. Better yet get the SportWagen and check a few more of the Jalop boxes.

I find it funny you think this is German. Go look at Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Lamborghini, Volvo, Jeep and a bunch of other manufactures -___-

I agree 100%. I’d say that Mercedes and Audi are kicking BMWs ass when it comes to appearance of their cars. I think that we can blame Chris Bangle for turning one of the coolest car manufacturers into one of the most WTF.

That generation just had a great look of lithe purposefulness yet still possesing the gravitas of an executive sedan.

Thousands of brave men gave their lives on that beach in France 71 years ago so that 1 Caitlyn Jenner has the freedom to be whatever the fuck she wants to be and 2 you have the freedom to be fucking small minded and petty about it

Mmm, so edgy to keep using the name Bruce. And in all caps too! That will surely convince Caitlyn this was all a mistake. My point, which you seem to have missed entirely, is there are different kinds of courage in the world. My brain is big enough to consider World War II soldiers AND people who publicly come out as

I smell collusion.

Well, it wasn’t really flying. Without power it was gliding and in something this big and heavy the “glide” is much more of a horizontal plummet than a gentle floating down. Not as bad as a helicopter. One of those without power glides like a set of car keys flung from a window.

I should probably have clarified that this is a BMW 328 Roadster.

Are you confusing this with Malaysian? Singapore is one of the top-rated airlines in the world.

No, we're looking for the first sports car, not the first sports car that didn't leak oil all over your driveway. :)

Actually I think the flight goes almost straight over Honolulu. A 747 can surely land there, right?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this post is less about what the first “race car” is, and what the first “sports car” is. When I think “race car” I’m thinking a car built to be fast without any reservations for comfort or reliability, or economy, etc. Basically everything regular people buy cars for.

This is a great topic, and one which is close to our heart.

I have to think those early satellite radios hurt the aerodynamics of the car just a bit.

Wow, data streaming in the 1990’s required a lot of sacrifice. But you can’t put a price on hearing, “You’ve got mail!”
