“Built to survive stranded for 2 months” is essentially my body type. My ancestors did a fantastic job tailoring our lineage to survive food scarcity and tough times. My body is so fucking efficient at packing away every stray calorie for a rainy day that basically an apocalyptic event is my only shot at a six-pack.

It’s wild we are just giving away something so powerful like this to someone that happens to have money. I want to just take someone from the Roman times or shoot even 100 years ago, put them in the passenger seat just to show them what they’ll be missing.

If this thing comes in below $200k before markups, and I think it will, GM will have knocked this thing out of the park.

That is absolutely stupid performance for that money.

This is sick as hell. I know people have complained about the higher-spec Corvettes costing a ton of money, but you can’t argue with how crazy this is and it’s cool seeing the kind of potential a giant OEM has with a platform like this.

Yes, yes, all well-and-good, BUT does the interior leather come strictly from cows that were raised on farms with non-barbed fences? You know what they say: only barbarians use leather from cows that scratched themselves on barbed wire.

To be honest, the whole car could do well with being five percent more douchy than it currently is.

Those wheels look like a nightmare to clean.

“In a firefight, hide behind the engine block.” In a Tesla, there is no engine block, leaving officers without their preferred cover, he said.

I certainly appreciate the overall sentiment of the article, but the idea that “no one needs a truck as big of the Silverado...” seems to be a bit off the mark. We live in the mountains on 3 acres and just last month while rebuilding my retaining wall I was regularly hauling loads of cement and lumber near the max

We have similar experience and I heard both of these things many decades ago.  Just because YOU haven't had it explained to you means nothing.

I get more of the low two finger wave from Harleys than any other bike. I’ve never seen it as a “peace sign,” just two casual fingers, as if the rest of your hand was too lazy to get them all out.   It’s  similar to a Jeep wave, but pointed down or to the side.

I wave at everything except for auto-cycles like the Slingshot/Vanderhall.      Can-Ams?  Yes.  Harley/Goldwing trikes?  Yes

two wheels down; shiny side up

A friend, real smart guy, called me up to tell me it was the biggest win he’d seen. This guy knows big wins. You know the democrats never win like this. Sure, they win sometimes. But never like this. In fact no one has ever won like this before.

Trump would call that a landslide victory ahah

I know we’re talking about today’s car, but...

It looks good, reasonable miles, well equipped, and a California car? I hit the NP! It's a San Francisco treat!

The silver bezel around the idrive screen looks really out of place. Like the rest is exceptional but the screen looks like an afterthought cut into the dash by the install dudes at the local Pep Boys.

Anyone at Nissan Australia get ahold of Randall’s whereabouts?

Typically widebody = hideous. In this case, it’s just fugly. It’s probably well into the 6 figures for this....thing, with the obligatory “Montana” plates.
