I’ve maintained this since reading the book in high school: Christopher McCandless was a stupid, naive, unprepared dink who thought he could piss in Nature’s face and get away with it. He got lucky a few times, but sooner or later if you don't respect Nature it will kill you dead.

you win.

I’m a long time out of college but my parents advice would have been “do better at another school and transfer”

I hadn’t seen this comment from Fisher before:

(Actually, upon thinking about it, i could afford the porsche, but as much as i love cars, id rather travel with that money. Ive lived in africa, nepal, china, hawaii, europe, and been to 48 states. Travel beats a nice car every day. In my opinion.)

like all those impoverished Saudi princes who can barely lease their Lambos.

Hey man, when you piss on a brick wall, you just get spatter on your shoes. Don't bother, brother.

I impress my date with my supreme blogging skills.

Worth $3 billion, $350 million, and (collectively) $300 million, respectively. What’s your definition of “not all that rich”?

Markets get distorted from government intervention. Have you ever bothered to see why those wall street types are so rich? You and I would be super rich too if our downside risks were covered by someone else and we could borrow for free.

The valet and I use the same coke dealer. For some reason, that impresses my date.

I seem to think about property taxes? Did I write a single thing about property taxes here in this thread? No. It’s amazing how you statists just make up shit and attribute it to those who make a statement or argument you don’t like, knock it down, then make a disparaging remark all while thinking you’re so fucking

I am delightful.

Maybe, but no because I secretly like the crosstour.

Full is a question of price. All the regular rate spots for the public at large may be taken but that doesn’t mean the garage is actually ‘full’.

PS: If it wasn’t for government restrictions garages would get built where ever there was market demand for them great enough to make it profitable.

See, if it’s still in beta mode, should they have sold it? Kind of proves his point.

25 years of alcoholism have a way of changing one’s personality.

No it’s a gross oversimplification, and is rarely interpreted that much in the favor of idiocy.
