Album is actually great, even if you don't view it as a come back. The only reason critics bring this up, is its been a central part of the band (as the bands history has had a profound impact on the lead singer and led the bands output over the years).

This is definitely their best album since Pinkerton (although I've always been a champion of Maladroit and really liked Everything Will Be Alright In the End).

I respect your opinion and all, but it makes me wonder what the band could ever really do. Yes there was is a huge difference in quality between Blue Album/Pinkerton and the rest of their output. But I feel like fans put their first two efforts up on an insane pedestal and overlook the flaws they had (I think they are
