Thanks!

I am so happy that there is a heated discussion about music theory!

It's been my experience that people who learned piano as their first instrument (particularly if they started young) have a massive headstart on everyone else when it comes to picking up music theory. Almost everything's chords, in one way or another, and if you play enough you pick up the ways they tend to fit

Oh MAN I got stuck playing cymbals on P&C exactly one time, as a high-school freshman, for about half an hour. After that, I always made sure to dibs timpani on anything that might call for a vamp.

This is awesome. I kept thinking about recruiting an actual kid to watch and partially guest-review an episode with me, but I… don't know any kids well enough that "Heyyyy, ask your parents if you can come over and watch cartoons with me?" wouldn't be totally weird.

Her expression was a really funny detail, BUT I think it's clearly gotta be Beifong this episode. As ever—heading out to a BBQ all day, but will be considering screencap nominations when I get home.
