Semi-related note: “...chose to take gym throughout high school.” Chose? Gym was optional for some people? Why couldn’t I had attended high school in this magical place instead of being forced to sweat through mindless calthecstentics three times a week by a sadistic teacher who belittled us in the process?

Oh, you must have known my son as a fetus!

Great, now I’m going to have Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl) in my head the rest of the day.

That would surprise me approximately 0%.

I could see Trump offering Bill a position. They’re clearly cut from the same douche canoe cloth. Besides, we already know Trump loves the snot out of him.

But in all seriousness, I’m glad he finally felt comfortable enough to go public. Mazel Tov, Barry.

I’m willing to take that chance to find out on my own. With or without clothing.

I have yet to forgive Edward Norton for having a child with another woman. That cheating bastard.

“Excuse me, WTF is this shapeless textile? Why have you put it at my feet, Human?”

I’ve never made risotto on the stovetop (because: lazy), but it’s ridiculously, stupidly easy to make in the crockpot. You literally dump in all of the ingredients, stir it a couple of times over a couple of hours, and it comes out perfectly.

I made marinated steaks for my son and husband, and stuffed clams for myself. We had roasted parmesan asparagus and popovers as well. I’m really in the mood to make an angel food cake as well, but I fear it might be too humid outside for that.

They weren’t terribly fond of one another, no.

I believe Philip did sign off on Diana for the reasons you stated, but Philip didn’t hand pick her. She wasn’t even in the picture until mid to late 1980.

I think the virginity thing came about as a byproduct of the super conservative Thatcher era. I have heard that Diana did undergo an exam with Elizabeth’s gynecologist, but I honestly don’t know how true that is or how valid a “virginity test” would be.

Gladly - any requests? I can talk British, Swedish, Norwegian, Belgian, German, Luxembourgish...

I had thought - and I may be wrong with this - that Charles was the one who ended it with Camilla initially. Or, rather, she gave him kind of a shit-or-get-off-the-pot ultimatum to which he said he wasn’t ready for marriage/something serious, so she moved on. Charles wasn’t quite aware with how deep his feelings

Holy buckets, thank you! :)

I know. And for whatever it’s worth, I do think she was nudged into a position in which she was waaaay over her head as a naive 19 year old. I just wish there didn’t have to be a “victim” or a “perpetrator” in this situation. I genuinely think both Charles and Diana went into the marriage intending to make it work.

I’m curious - what are your sources? To my knowledge, Charles wasn’t interested enough in Camilla to marry her in the early 70s. She’s was dating Andrew Parker-Bowles at the time as well, and turned her attentions to him fully after Charles wasn’t particularly serious about their relationship. Camilla married APB
