I have a question regarding Davis’ future in her job. So she can’t be fired because she’s an elected official. She can only be removed impeachment, and as I understand it that is something the state congress must vote upon. What if the state congress votes not to impeach her? What happens then?
Fair point, but where do you think those Republican female politicians come from?
I’d say it’s probably a bit of both. I would say that both “conventionally attractive” and “feminine” are both social constructs, though. Femininity can be something a woman works at to achieve, but a woman can be naturally feminine in appearance - small and dainty as opposed to taller and with larger features, for…
Where did I say that genes determined sexual orientation 100%? But genes do play a part in determining sexual orientation. Hence, biological aspect. Read more carefully, please.
Here’s one of many. Is this news to you?
Because of the conservatives preference for adherence to traditional gender roles and behaviors. Therefore conventionally feminine and attractive women would more likely be drawn to the Republican Party.
What’s wrong with a Hotmail or Yahoo email account? I’ve had the same Yahoo email account for 15+ years and I don’t see a reason why I need to ditch it.
That’s true, but I guess I’d chalk that up to the biological aspect of sexual orientation. There isn’t one for political affiliation.
The findings of this study seem to be kind of a cousin to the results of a study which determined that conventionally attractive and feminine women are most likely to identify as politically conservative and/or Republican. When one fits the ideals of a particular group, one is less likely to examine and find any…
That happened to my family one Easter. Mr. eejm was patient zero and managed to infect our son, my aunt and uncle, my mom, and me. Good times.
Yeah, same here. They tend to look like mannequins. I normally take one peek and that’s enough.
I think it’s long been kind of a safe way for “good” girls to explore a bad side.
I’m in Nashville, and they seem to take vaccination pretty seriously here. Starting this year seventh graders were banned from attending school until they had proof they received their boosters.
I guess there’s a lot of trading at my kid’s school, although I don’t know if it’s actually allowed or if it’s done on the down low. He started requesting jalapeno Cheetos last year, and when I asked him why (that was an unusual request for him) he said, “But C LOVES them! And I get brownies from him!” I don’t care if…
Ugh, that’s even MORE depressing.
Are you sure? Perhaps Josh is entitled to conjugal visits connected with his “therapy.”
I do think Anna would have plenty of support if she decided to leave. She could have a book deal, a healthy advance, and family support in a microsecond. However, I do understand that she may not be emotionally able to do so, now or ever. I’m just saying that if she does want to leave, it’s possible she’s prevented…
Oh, I don’t doubt that at all. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the Duggar family invited Anna and the kids to stay with them or sent a relative or two over to stay with Anna to help her out/make sure she does not have any chance to leave.
