I know that in some cases in which a person goes missing - like the “runaway bride” from a few years ago - charges are filed for payment of the man hours and funds used to find the person. I didn’t know if that would be applicable in a case like this.

I’m surprised no charges are being filed in this case given the amount of law enforcement efforts and hours given to finding these women. When I went to college back in the Dark Ages, I would watch Donahue every single morning while I was getting dressed. He cancelled his show during my sophomore year and I was CRUSHED.

We had a cat while I was growing up who LOVED playing Make The Bed. He would even jump and try to attack the sheets as we spread them on the bed. It’s odd, because he was normally sort of a pretentious, image-conscious, too-cool-for-school cat normally, but he cast all that aside for bed-making.
