"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."
-Lyndon B. Johnson to a young Bill Moyers

I immediately thought Kanye could and that Kanye has (with the 35-min movie), however thinking back to it, I couldn't tell you what he was saying…or shall I say, what he said didn't touch me in the least. The ancestral ties that Beyonce (and I'm no fan) incorporated is something Kanye could never do. He's too far

Seriously! I miss Eddie! His evil doppelganger would work JUST FINE…

… because we pretend all black women are one group who aren't broken up like every other group by class. There is clearly a class divide between the woman asking the question and the women with whom she'd like to connect, but whatevs…. she'll learn.

Hahahahahahahahahaha! That was my gyrl!

I don't understand your take on Jalessa, who'd likely best represent the resilient, working young woman who made mistakes in her youth, but courageously returns to college to get an education despite her "outsider", through age, status.

I hate them so much, especially Louise… honestly… she is the worst. The absolute worst … and I say this as a former tomboy. She is so forced.

Good gosh I LOOOOOOOVE LINDA from Bob's Burgers! It's the youngest girl (whose name I shall not utter) and the boy that I HATE with a passion. Why couldn't Bob and Linda just had Tina, one of the best animated characters created in a decade.

Thank you so much Alana. You've got it! Because that "rule" wasn't being put to use, I spent a lot of time trying to justify, in my mind, what was going on because I wanted to enjoy the episode, but then… it all got so messy in the bedroom… "A little help?" Why would she ask that AFTER undressing or after at least

The date night was necessary in the general narrative, but it was nowhere near strong and took up a lot of the episode. Are you being hyperbolic?

Is it possible to hate Cisco? Does not compute for me…

Total B- episode. Weakest episode of a very strong series, but even that is ok especially after last week's epic episode. Noticeably odd moments, but it might be because I'm spoiled that I found myself disappointed at some of the acting choices…odd. The final Henry Allen scene was my favorite moment.

Lol. I knew immediately, there would be no mention of the lead.

"I cheered the first time Huck took her to task for telling him to "take care of it" and then pretending she didn't know what that really meant."
