The thing with IT is that once it is the "official ending", it loses some of its, well, power. I think it is something that works very well if you dont know about it, and you discover it for yourself ( or read about it after completing the game and feeling something was missing. )

Im interested to know how you can consider Event Horizon one of the worst science fiction movie ever made. While there are a number of movies on your list that I feel are far from bad enough to warrant a nomination, Event Horizon is the most noteworthy.
