Perfect car for A Nice Morning Drive.

My son is graduating college in May, and I’m going to give him the E30. He loves it, and I’m ready to try something new. Never owned a Porsch-uh, convertible or midengined (other than a brief fiasco with trying to use a Fiero for RallyCross), so thinking that a used Boxster would be a good new experience.

My in-laws have a Jeep Patriot which we use while visiting.  Since the alternative is a rental car, I only drive it because it’s free.  It’s horrible, but free.

I am not a fan of Restomods. If you want an old car, drive it as it was built, warts and all. That’s an essential part of the experience. If you want a new performance car, buy one of those. A restomod is just buying the style without the feel of driving an old car.
