BRZ for city winter driving? Nah.

I know multiple doctors, and they are all bad drivers. I think we’re onto something here.

Sorry for the late reply. I live in Quebec (Montreal), and yes, it’s mostly like that when it snows. They put way too much salt on the road, so even when it’s -15+ outside, the roads are damp. When the slush hits your car on the highway, it immediately freezes in place.

Lifted Subaru Outback 3.6r. Enough power to tow, reliable, and extremely capable. Paired with a roof top tent, you’ll have all the place you need in the back. Drives like a car on the road too, not like a truck. And the 3.6r is the most reliable Subaru engine. LPAventure makes the best kits (they do not void Subaru’s

Salted road slush is the worst. Here is my car after a 45 min ride home. Note the ice stuck on the SIDE of the car!

YES! THEY DIDN’T PUT THE SCREEN ON THE DASH. Thank you, Peugeot, I really hate those protruding screens that are single-handily ruining otherwise beautiful interiors. A breath of fresh air indeed

Good job on the review, it was spot-on. The pictures are amazing! The canyon shots are stellar. Well done!

There is a problem with your car. My 360hp STi swapped 2005 Outback XT (MT) gets more or less 25MPG of mixed city/highway driving (@75-80mph), in the winter (with winter tires). My friend’s 3.0r with studded tires and a ski rack gets a bit less than that (20MPG), but the dealer thinks the O2 sensors are dead.

There is a “secret” oval ring close to where I live (Montreal, QC) that nobody seems to about. It’s privately owned and closed to the public. Literally found it while scouting for some winter drifts spots using Google maps Terrain view.

Go to the next level. Instead of an emission tax based on pollution, do a tax based on the car’s efficiency, based on aerodynamics and mostly thermal efficiency of the manufacturer’s engine. This way, you’re taxing manufacturers with poor engine designs, and subsequently polluting cars, but you’re not penalizing

But you would be a fool to believe Apple when they say they don’t use its user data...Data mining is a HUGE business and insanely profitable. And anyway, if it’s not done via the device; Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat are doing it. Or the Chrome Browser they use. Almost inevitable!

New design, based on the FA20. Top mounted oil filter, accessible belt driven accessories paired with a timing belt. This thing is gooooodd

True!

Everything to replace the CVT... Pretty sure they’ll soon start selling CVT equipped cars and brand them as 13 gears because it sells better...

Tell them to go and test drive a new 2018 3.6r. I was blown away by how much it doesn’t feel like an SUV. And the AWD is better than the Buick. But hey, that new Tourx is gorgeous!

The answer is obviously an Outback 3.0r. A fully loaded one will have everything you need, and more. The interior is really comfortable and silent. The EZ30r H6 is one if not the most reliable engine Subaru made. No head gaskets issues, and no timing belt to worry about. Pretty much bulletproof. And it’s got 250hp, so

The difference between a 2005-09 Legacy and a Forester (any year that fits in a 7k budget) is staggering. The Legacy is a much, much more comfortable ride. It’s smoother, quieter and loaded with more “luxury”, like projector headlights, courtesy lights, red cluster, black carpet ect...But, the Forester (SG) is

It’s not much for most of you guys, but here it is ;

The Outback XT is way bigger than the XV. The XV is based on the Impreza chassis and the Outback is on the Legacy chassis. The closest thing to an XV WRX would probably be a WRX hatch.

BUT, Subaru has the means to do it! Subaru engines are like legos and can seemingly be transplanted in any platform. I bet one guy at the factory could make his own WRX XV. I’m still waiting on an H6 Forester though.
