Honestly, the entire Zelda franchise is a mixed bag. I really enjoyed some, and absolutely hate others. 

Insurrection is better than all of Picard, and Insurrection is terrible.

Tron, while a brilliant technical movie, is trash.

Loved Tron as a kid. I mean by modern standards it is terrible. At the time it was mind blowing.

Actually before the 20th century Islam was far more tolerant of homosexuality. The backlash against it is a mostly 20th century invention stemming from it being lumped into a large bucket of things considered “Western” and thus bad by Islamic Scholars fighting back colonialism from the west.

It’s also worth pointing out that not all Muslims are against LGTBQ+ rights. There are a lot of good papers written about Islam and homosexuality and how views have evolved and changed over the last few centuries.

I’m just curious, do the majority of people of your religion understand that the intense homophobia is a direct result of Muhammad’s extensive and well documented homosexual behavior? Or are you just as ignorant and stupid as the morons here ‘in American society’ who think Jesus was a white guy with a beard?

There is a very simply problem with this viewpoint: taking a neutral stance always favors the oppressors.

Unfortunately the whole notion of “tolerance” is fundamentally flawed. Tolerance implies there is still something WRONG with the other perspective and that you merely “tolerate” it for the sake of feigning civility. This only will lead, more often than not, to a boiling point where tolerance breaks down and bigotry…

I’m sure you’re as aware of this as I am, but for anybody else who might not be aware: the folks saying that their shitty views deserve to be respected don’t actually care about tolerance. They’re just using the language of tolerance to try and defend being bigots.

Watching DTS made my wife actually care about F1, which means we’re regularly watching races all together as a family - I’m very thankful for that (definitely helps that the competition was good last season and this season so far).
