It most likely has a clean title. “No title” does not equal “salvage title”, and a CarFax on the VIN would show that history.

It IS a VW of some kind. Ties might not have been as tied as nowadays, but this is Piëch’s baby.
Star for excellent use of “handle” when referring to liquid volumes.

That was my thought as well. I drove one just like the one in this article as a rental one time and I’ve never been more excited about giving a car back.

Hold up! They have all these hoops you have to jump through to get a Ferrari and they still sold one to that fedora clad douche-nozzle Spike Mendelsohn? Why do I know this? He used to live around the corner from me on Capitol Hill and I would see him in his Ferrari (with an automatic, BARF!!!) California cruising…
They’re miserable. My friend has had 9 Ferraris and around 2005-6 made it to the end of the waiting list for the 575 Superamerica. Last minute they decided “nah, we’re giving it to someone else.” By sundown that day he had a new Murcielago in the garage.
Have you examined the welds on a Ferrari chassis? Great Googly Moogly! Pigeon shit hall of fame material!
That is absolutely true. Ferrari interiors age terribly, even though most of them have relatively few miles on them. What looks great new turns to shit after three or four years in them.
And what about a Ferrari compared to a higher-end 911?
Why the hell are people so obsessed with these cars when there are so many options out there now that are better cars at better prices? I understand they’re beautiful, but they’re also impossible to drive on a daily basis, their performance numbers are no longer superior to those of competitors, and the company is…
Any idea if they’ve gotten better? They’ve been under the VAG umbrella for a long time now, and I know share things with Audi. I would think that’d be helpful.
But has Lamborghini gotten better? Mid 2000s is 10 or so years ago, and no current models were made in the mid 2000s.
Just pray you never have to sit in one. When I think Ferrari interior quality, the only word/phrase that comes to mind is “1990's GM”.
Ferrari is pretty pompus, but there is no question which car is higher quality when you have a Ferrari next to a Lamborghini on a lift. I could not believe some of the average build quality on the mid 2000's Lamborghini’s I have touched. From underneath Ferrari is definitely still on top of quality.
Somehow every time I read a Ferrari article, I come out the other side thinking “fuck Ferrari.”
I am convinced Ferrari is a just vile company. I don’t have the money to, but if I did, I’d never buy one. Porsche’s cars are as good to drive for far less money, McLaren’s have better performance, and Lamborghini builds better supercars.
