Excuse me, I have a two-part question and a comment...

I think she tells people who already agree with her what they want to hear, and makes everyone involved feel smart

For a bit of context for non-lawyers, these are a discovery device known as Requests for Admission. They’re used to narrow down the issues before you get to settlement negotiations and/or trial so that the parties are focusing on the areas where they disagree. To get admissions like this so early in the process is

hey man, I pulled the gun on mom jeans, and they are amaze

“My wife is looking out for her own interests for once! I kind of supportthat, I guess! Cookie now, please!”

But if Beyoncé Tweeted those same words...

Great comment — love reading your analysis. Besides Rose’s arc, I found her physical presence to be very intriguing throughout. Having seen Allison Williams, an already thin woman, become so thin she almost disappears, but then she is this sleeper cell racist despite her slight appearance in the film. She is the

**SUPER HUGE SPOILERS** Don’t read this comment if you are going to see Get Out (which I highly recommend). Seriously, DONT READ THIS unless you’ve seen it...

why do we (white people) always think that someone ELSE should fix the problems WE created?

I think what’s great about the movie is that it contects “modern day” liberal racism with the history of slavery. Yes, white people interacting with Chris was cringeworthy, but the horror is what they want to do with Chris’s body and all the other black bodies in the film. It’s not just about white people being

I thought it would be just a witty yet cynical take on race, like a Robert Townsend movie from way back. It turned out to be one of the most clear-headed expressions of race relations I’ve seen.

Thank you for writing this Clover . I was actually waiting for this from you . I can’t believe how good this movie was . Lines that struck me :

I can’t elaborate on this without spoiling the central twist, but damn, the metaphor revealed in the third act was flat-out perfect.

Fun fact: Lin cried while writing much of the second act of Hamilton. He moved himself to tears with his own story.

Pulp Fiction is overrated?

That’s so awkward 😬 I’m happy for Moonlight but I’m sorry its big moment will be overshadowed like this

The way salaries are kept opaque makes it so difficult to be paid fairly. This is a gender problem, but it’s also a problem that affects all workers. Wages have stayed flat across the board for a reason.

Road trip?

Love their delivery service, I got my mattress there as well and both times the delivery guys were early, super nice, and very quick.
