My guess is that the events of Wonderland occur after these events at some point, since the timeline is left ambiguous in the Wonderland series. Although I would be ecstatic to see the Wonderland story continued in OUAT somehow—like maybe Knave got swept up in the second curse while his love somehow escaped it.
For most things outdated in a sci-fi future world I just chalk it up to nostalgia that society was feeling at the time the movie takes place, like fashion and retro tech.
Hi, my name is Jon—long time reader, frequent commenter. I am fairly knowledgeable in most geek areas and love talking hypotheticals and filling plot holes. Currently I am temping as an admin in a tiny real-estate law firm while taking beginning classes in web design and animation. However I am getting up in age…
"But then there's also the female Cap known as the American Dream, Heroes Reborn Iron Man, and several other bizarre incarnations of these Marvel heroes."
It was either a hologram or a clear digital screen, and if you look at the bottom article where it says "Red Skies Disappear" the image of the sun is actually moving.
I can't believe I didn't notice one of their windows was a clock til this episode! Are there really apartments like that? (not that I could afford it, most likely)
#40?!? This episode was so fun and full of fan-service that I think it should be much higher on the list. Best of all was that it was SO unexpected (at least for me).
I want DESPERATELY to like this movie—but I agree, the time travel logic makes ZERO sense!
I was pretty depressed after reading this, particularly (MINOR SPOILER) because of my ethnicity and relating to said character. My girlfriend stopped reading my trades afterwards, though whether it was because she saw a little of me in it or because she was just disgusted I'm not entirely sure. Fingers crossed HARD…
Did anyone else think that youtube freezeframe was moving before realizing it wasn't playing yet...?
Found the clip, thank you! Though I wish their robot would make a return appearance, too...
I've brought up this episode of the Twilight Zone before on past list, but it DEFINITELY needs mentioning here—"Escape Clause" has, imo, THE most wasted opportunity of immortality and deserves a place on this list!
My first and still my favorite Sentai team! I wish they would get more recognition in the movies where all the Sentai teams get together, though.
I just re-watched this (on tv, had been a while), and the story itself isn't great—but MAN, I remember the effects not being good, not ATROCIOUS! If the effects were better I might have enjoyed it more (I love the first movie, still haven't seen 3).
Currently piling up. Also didn't get back into this next one and I get flak whenever I bring it up...
I just found my season 3 videos that I downloaded years ago still on my harddrive—just transferred them to a flash drive and hoping I can walk to my PS3 and knock them out.
Got some literature you might be interested in...
Despite the wonky head sculpt I must say the rest of the body looks really good!
I do keep up with the comics, just wanted to avoid possibly spoiling the fate of the character if the show decided to follow suit.
